Edgehall's speciality is quality both on the accommodation side and the general ambience of the hotel e.g. the stately dining room, relaxing lounge and beautiful Georgian flower garden.
We pride ourselves on serving traditional home cooked breakfasts,with many of the vegetables and herbs coming fresh from our own gardens.
Particular attention has been paid to upgrading the bedrooms in the main House to the very highest standards that this unique Georgian House has to offer. Additional budget accommodation is available in the Lodge House that adjoins the flower garden. This offers accommodation to the same standard as the main house but at a lower price and also offers the facility for those with pets.

Diana Jones is a brilliant hostess. Orchard End is where she lives with her family, and the rooms she has available are very comfortable and furnished with taste and care. There are two in the main house and two others in the converted barn behind.
Her parents live two doors away and regularly let rooms in their house too, so it’s a real family affair! Breakfasts in either house are legendary and you are treated as family in both. The Cooking Experience is a brisk 5 minutes walk away, which might be appropriate after Diana’s breakfast!

A luxury bijou cottage set in the heart of the historic Suffolk market town of Hadleigh. St. Mary’s cottage is a Grade II listed building that dates back to the mid 1800’s, when it was originally built as the annexe to a large Victorian town house.
The cottage is set adjacent to Hadleigh’s historic fifteenth century Church, St Mary’s, which was painted by Suffolk’s two most famous artists, John Constable & Thomas Gainsborough.

Wheelwrights is a cottage recently converted from an 18th century wheelwrights barn and consists of one bedroom with 6ft bed, bathroom with bath and shower, fully equipped kitchen and large lounge with woodburning stove situated in the grounds of a 16th century thatched cottage. ‘The Forge’, Kersey Uplands.
