After a number of years organising Team-Building Events for a long list of corporate clients, we now have access to a new and exciting London Venue.
Vinopolis Wine Centre, close to London Bridge and Borough Market now has a superb flexible area within the complex which can hold from 15 to 70 people for bespoke Team-Building, Interactive Cooking Sessions. Our partners have secured this prestigious location which is ideally situated in the heart of London and The Cooking Experience can hire it for any event which requires cooking and eating facilities. There is plenty of room both for food preparation and consumption and because we are within the Wine Centre, we can factor in Tastings and Wine Appreciation which go “Cap-In-Hand” with the food.
As all of our past clients will remember, The Cooking Experience Cooking Sessions are based on Fun, Team-Building, Interaction, Hands-On and Inspiration - our most important keywords. Mark, Annie and the team are experienced in this field (since 2002) and can guarantee a really exciting session, which takes people out of their “Office Bubble” into our space for the day.
We also can do cooking demonstrations which can be followed by Hands-On sessions or just be demonstrations followed by a meal with wine.

The perfect venue to launch a new product or service and combine it with a cooking demonstration or a Hands-On cooking session.

Tried and tested and very popular. If the session is based around producing a meal, the main course can be ad lib and each team would receive a bag with some core ingredients, and they will be given a set time to produce a dish with accompaniments for the main course. We will provide a comprehensive store of ingredients, including fresh veg and herbs, dairy and dry store including spices.
Julie Devonald is our wonderful “Chocolate Libertine”. She has worked with several “Chocolatiers” including Gerard Ronay and Rococo. You will watch her tempering chocolate, then you will do it yourselves and roll truffles, make chocolate baskets and then pack these in sellophane bags, nicely presented for you to take away!
Italian, Indian, Oriental, French, Seafood many others. Mark David demonstrates, you then produce the food and eat it washed down with wine from Vinopolis.
Our other venue in London is The Knightsbridge Aga Shop, near Harrods which boasts a wonderful showroom with a generous space for up to 12 people doing a Hands-On Cooking Session. Well lit, and fully air-conditioned, this venue is ideal for the smaller groups and well situated.
Of course, we can come to you, all we need is either an empty room with 13 amp power points, and nearby water or a hotel conference room or similar with the same water and electricity requirements. In the summer, we can operate within a marquee. Recent clients using these facilities include Microsoft UK and Proctor and Gamble.
In Suffolk, we now have a marquee in the garden at the rear of The Cooking Experience which enables us to take up to 25 people for a Hands-On Cooking Session during the warmer months. We also have a second kitchen which creates more space, complete with ovens and portable induction hobs.
