Facilities

All our facilities are currently based at our home at The Chapel House, 9 High Street, Hadleigh and have been so since The Cooking Experience started 8 years ago.

The building is believed to be part of a 17th century chapel that was once situated here, hence the name ‘Chapel House’.

The Kitchens

We currently have 2 kitchens, the first of which can comfortably hold up to 10 people. Our second kitchen doubles as our private kitchen (When not in use!) but it means we are able to accommodate larger groups (Up to 15 people) for the normal courses as well as corporate and private events such as Hen Parties, Stag Parties or in fact any party for that matter!. There are plenty of utensils, ovens, hobs and the wine fridge, which is always full!!

Marquee and Barbecue area

In addition to our kitchens we have installed a fully lined marquee on a large paving area which up until recently was our lawn. It is bright and cheerful, ideal for any sit-down meal seating up to 50 people with the barbecue patio as an area for pre-meal drinks.

We will be using the extra space this has created for our normal day courses as the 'social' location right up to and including most of October. After our cooking sessions we will relax away from the kitchens and enjoy the fruits of your labour!

The marquee area is perfect for:

• Drinks and Canapé receptions
• Corporate Seminars with food
• Christenings

Our prices are sensible and remember, you are not paying a large hire charge for the marquee. We include this as well as certain wine and drinks as part of the package. The venue is yours exclusively, and includes a comfortable conservatory with Sky TV.
