Private Parties

The Cooking Experience is ideal for any private party. The venue is totally yours (no strangers!). The whole of our ground floor comprising 2 kitchens, a comfy conservatory and outside patio and garden is at your disposal. Mark and Annie David live on the premises and so the ambience is cosy and homely. We can take up to 30 (summer) or 20 (winter). We cover the lawn with a simple marquee and use the barbecues in the summer! The group can be split into teams and each team prepares the meal which we all sit down to eat, served by the Cooking Experience team. Wine flows (all included).
We bake bread, toss pancakes, make pasta and do a "Ready Steady Cook" style main course perhaps.
If you don’t want Hands-On we can rustle up a chef or two to demonstrate and then cook your meal for you.
In any event, your day/evening is bespoke and you decide what you want to do.
Christmas Lunch / Supper Parties
Lets banish the blues and change the downturn to an upturn, its about time! Christmas should be celebrated whether you are a company team, small business or a group of family and friends. We have plenty of time slots available at The Cooking Experience, both weekdays, days and evenings and weekends, particularly in December when our courses are not running.
We can look after up to 25 people seated for a festive but not too expensive celebration meal. there is plenty of room for a pre-meal drink or two with nibbles, and a meal to follow, crackers, decorations, hats and party poppers! We include all wine, beer and soft drinks and the choice of food is inviting. Have a look at an example of what we can offer with a guide price.

- Baked Fillet of Salmon with Whole Baked Garlic and a Tarragon Cream Sauce
- Roast Leg of English Lamb with all the trimmings.

We can offer a choice of 2 items from each section above, and we also produce a choice of delicious vegetarian dishes on request. Loads more meal options (Oriental, Indian, Spanish etc)
Guide price. From £45 per head. This price includes VAT and depends on numbers. All food, wine, beers and soft drinks included. Also includes the venue price (Venue exclusive to you).
