Food always brings people together. Culinary Team Building events create an environment that promotes creativity, communication and co-operation among participants, allowing them to relate in ways not possible in the office. With the assistance of our professional chefs, team members work together to prepare a fantastic meal in a comfortable culinary setting, and then "break bread" while enjoying their meal together. Prior culinary experience not required!

We have just completed work on our second working kitchen adjacent to the existing one which now means we can host up to 25 people at any one time. It doubles as our private kitchen and means we can accommodate larger groups both for the normal courses, but also for corporate events and private groups. If you are looking to arrange a corporate event with greater numbers than our premises can hold, we are now able to hire a superb local venue (10 minutes drive from The Cooking Experience) set in 6 acres with brilliant facilities for our corporate team-building events.
Can't get to Hadleigh? No problem, we come to you or your chosen venue which we can arrange on your behalf, we bring everything needed for a great team building day!
Corporate Catering and Entertainment
If you have a corporate event planned and need catering look no further, The Cooking Experience can help. We cater for small parties through to large events and are able to provide from food only right through to organizing the whole event including marquee hire etc.
Do you take your clients out to the best restaurants to discuss, and close deals? Why not join us at The Cooking Experience instead and we can all cook together preparing a delicious meal, comparable to a top class restaurant, except you helped to prepare it! We will then serve the meal to you with wine in a relaxed atmosphere.
Alternatively our team of chefs can do some fun cooking demonstrations and you can watch and then eat what they have cooked! Whatever you choose, we guarantee that you will have a lively, and inspirational day at The Cooking Experience!

Corporate Team-Building Events
Since 2003 we have been running events for companies, both here at The Cooking Experience in Suffolk and at our two venues in London and Bedford.
The Hoxton School of Oriental Cookery is situated near Old Street, a stone’s throw from the City and offers a fully working kitchen which allows us to run groups of up to 40 people for full or half days/evenings. Recent clients include BNP Paribas, British American Tobacco, Investors in People, KPMG, Reuters, IPC Media, Glaxo Smith Kline, Pfizer, Benfields and many more. All have provided feedback saying that cooking makes a welcome change from Painting Courses and Bungie Jumping!! We split the whole group into teams without knowledge of their position in the company, so the MD might be working with a young trainee accountant!! Hoxton boasts air-conditioning, even in the kitchen, and a spacious restaurant area for meals and breaks. Apart from the Fun aspect, real team-building objectives are achieved, enhancing teamwork and co-operation.
The Bedford Corn Exchange is equally well equipped and closer to the Midlands and the North. Facilities are good and spacious both for the cooking and relaxing. Air-conditioned throughout and with a well equipped kitchen. There are good hotels and parking is close by.
At both Bedford and Hoxton the staff are efficient and helpful which makes our job easier, and we can concentrate on looking after our clients.
